Santa Monica Restaurants | Qwil Apartment Hollywood

Elephante

Elephante is a breath of fresh air- quite literally, you can feel the ocean breeze from your table on the terrace. It is the type of place where you come for a beautiful cocktail but wants to stay for dinner- the food is elevated Italian cuisine. From the food to the interiors, everything is amazing. Our favorites on the menu are the whipped eggplant and tuna crudo to start, the Tuscan kale salad, and the wood-fired soppressata pizza is a must. A chic destination with a rooftop space in the center of downtown Santa Monica with ocean views.

Forma

Forma is a mini restaurant scene which is kind of the place for a low-key after-work bite or a big night out. The menu includes the Italian classics but they also serve a great cheeseburger and I have heard their gluten-free spaghetti is pretty great too.

Fig

Located inside the Fairmont Hotel also the same property as the well-known bar, The Bungalow. Run by Chef Yousef Ghhalaini, the Mediterranean menu features dishes he made growing up with his grandfather in Lebanon. The restaurant is a beautiful indoor-outdoor space centered around the bar and spills onto a patio overlooking Fairmont’s pool. We recommend first relaxing with a hand-crafted cocktail, the Qwil Apartment favorite is the “Westside Paloma”. For dinner, begin with the summer squash, charred corn, and wagyu beef tartare. For the main course, try the lamb bolognese, and the pacific Rockfish.

Tar & Roses

A casual-chic Santa Monica eatery led by Chef Andrew Kirschner, serving a modern, rustic American cuisine.

Chef Kirschner has transformed his kitchen into a local and welcoming home, focused on the element of the wood-fired oven to bring out the best flavor in all of their dishes. Our standout items on the menu include the charred octopus skewers, the hanger steak with wood-roasted potatoes and romesco, and braised redfish with chanterelles, borlotti beans, and tomato.

The Albright

Are you in the mood for seafood or the best Clam Chowder? The Albright is family-oriented seafood, rustic-chic fish house located on the Santa Monica Pier.  Featuring a delectable menu of seafood classics, local fare, and craft beer. A large menu featuring a raw bar, seafood platters, lobster roll, ceviche, and oh do not forget the fish and chips!

The Lobster

An iconic Santa Monica restaurant, overlooking the Santa Monica pier has earned its reputation for spectacular seafood, thanks to its focus on Maine lobsters and much more. The lobsters arrive perfectly steamed until the meat is incredibly tender served with a side of warm melted butter, you will want to order seconds.
