Along Sunset BLVD is our next sushi hot spot. Sushiya is a lively hangout featuring a great selection of Asian eats, plus outdoor seating in the heart of it all. Offering a mix of sushi, noodles, tacos, bento box, sashimi and more. The creamy rock shrimp tempura is our favorite followed by beef tacos and chicken sliders.

From the outside, Hamasaku looks like one of those LA strip mall sushi bars, but inside Hamasaku feels like you might actually be in Japan. The sushi spot is known for their omakase where you get the freshest and highest quality ingredients for a very decent price. Hamasaku is a sophisticated harmony of Japanese cuisine and Californian exuberance. The wide-ranging menu includes nigiri and sushi rolls. Our go-to plates include the miso-glazed black cod and the spicy tuna crispy rice.
SUGARFISH by Sushi Nozama
Sugarfish might be an LA rite of passage. If you have been in LA for a while, you have probably seen a few Sugarfish locations around. Despite its rapid expansion, the quality of fish has not dwindled. In fact, the high quality of fish is the reason Sugarfish is one of our favorites in Los Angeles. You will not be disappointed if you order “the Nozawa Trust me”, trust me it really is amazing!
